Ab Initio Developer

Role Overview and Core Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Ab Initio Developer with 6 to 7 years of hands-on expertise in designing and building Ab Initio graphs and plans, including both Continuous Flows and Batch processes. Ideal candidates will have recent or current practical experience enhancing the performance of Ab Initio graphs and applying source control and code promotion strategies within the Ab Initio environment.

Key Technical Requirements

• Proficient in SQL across any relational database management system and possess foundational knowledge of shell scripting.
• Solid understanding of database and fundamental computing and networking concepts.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to quickly grasp problems and devise effective technical solutions.
• Experience working within Agile teams, demonstrating adaptability and collaboration.
• Excellent communication skills, emphasizing clarity and respectful exchange of ideas rather than just language proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing real-time applications and API-driven systems.
• Advanced conceptual knowledge or hands-on experience with Continuous Flows.
• Familiarity with cloud-hosted Ab Initio implementations.
• Awareness of secure coding practices.
