About the Role
This position offers 45 hours of work per week, focusing on local delivery assignments with a strong emphasis on customer interaction. The role includes a flexible "Any 5 from 7" days working pattern, which may require weekend shifts. Drivers are entrusted with timely deliveries and excellent customer service, forming a crucial part of the company's success.
Responsibilities
You will be tasked with loading stock at the branch and ensuring its delivery to customers, maintaining accurate paperwork related to deliveries. Keeping customers' shelves stocked with essential products is a vital part of ensuring their service satisfaction.
Requirements
The role requires a Cat B/3.5-tonne driving licence and at least two years of driving experience, with a preference for candidates who have delivery driving exposure. Candidates must be capable of manual handling tasks related to deliveries and possess strong interpersonal skills combined with a positive customer service outlook. A good grasp of literacy and numeracy is necessary.
