Overview Of Role

The Senior Director US Digital Strategy will lead the development and execution of innovative digital strategies to enhance customer engagement, streamline operations, and drive business growth in the pharmaceutical industry. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of digital technologies, data governance, and omnichannel marketing. This role will report into the Head of US Commercial.

Role And Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital strategies that align with business objectives and enhance customer engagement across various digital platforms
  • Collaborate closely with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of digital technologies and robust data governance practices, ensuring data integrity and security
  • Oversee relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality digital production and effective media campaigns, negotiating contracts and managing performance
  • Lead the planning and execution of omnichannel pilot programs, analyzing results and scaling successful initiatives to maximize reach and impact
  • Utilize customer data to drive personalized content strategies, enhancing user experience and engagement through targeted messaging and campaigns
  • Develop and lead training programs to enhance digital fluency among staff, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices
  • Leads training for digital fluency and compliance
  • All other duties as assigned

Experience, Education And Specialized Knowledge And Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 12+ years of experience in digital strategy, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital strategies
  • Strong understanding of digital technologies, data governance, and omnichannel marketing
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights to drive strategy
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills

The pay range for this role is $221,000-$277,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable variable compensation.
