Role Overview:
The Purchasing Manager will oversee procurement activities, supplier relationships, and cost control to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement purchasing policies and strategies.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers for best pricing and quality.
- Maintain supplier relationships and ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor and control purchasing budgets and expenses.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and company policies.
- Optimize inventory management to prevent shortages and overstocking.
- Prepare and present purchasing reports to senior management.
Candidate Requirements:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems.
- Experience in hospitality or event management procurement is preferred.
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify cost efficiencies.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple supplier contracts.
