QA Engineer

Main Responsibilities

Testing as part of Agile Scrum team and experience in working on E2E test teams.

Handling client-oriented role in testing or testing phase of Product implementation.

You should have a good understanding of reviewing functional specifications/ FDDs. Can juggle well between different requirement sources – JIRA, Confluence, Wireframes (UI/UX), FDDs (MS word), etc

Learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.

You will be responsible to maintain the health of the application, run non-regression checks after every major update

You should be able to run automated campaigns on a daily basis to assess the health of the application

Be able to understand the progress of development and get the details of the code coverage.

Be able to maintain multiple platforms by loading different software versions

Be able to independently find the software version available for testing without much interference or guidance from the developer

Strong Communication with development and with dependent stakeholders

About The Ideal Candidate

Should have at least 7 years of experience.

Should possess strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, standards and processes.

Should be cued to the latest tools and approaches in the QA field

Strong hands-on experience of API testing on Service Oriented Architecture applications (aka. OBE systems).

Should have 4-6 years of manual and automation experience with SOAPUI/ POSTMAN PRO/ REST-ASSURED/ etc using XML/ JSON.

Should have Strong experience in UI/ UX testing, Selenium Automation and Protractor framework

Should have First-hand experience in Developing the automated Protractor scripts for functional and regression purposes, enhancement of automation framework; executing on Jenkins.

Should have first-hand experience (4+ years) in deriving and executing complex functional scenarios tracked effectively to Requirements.

Should have Experience (4+ years) in reporting and communicating on test activities to the line organization, software developers and product definitions.

Should have strong experience in BE logs analysis of different application component.
