RxY

RxY is a multi-client, data capture, deep-mining platform, focused on capturing in-the-moment, actual prescribing decisions. RxY is often the last interaction with physicians before the prescription is filled. RxY only captures dynamic in-play patients – we believe that newly initiated and switch patients are the battleground. Utilising advanced technologies including chatbot probe, AI and Apps, RxY allows brand teams to understand the ‘why’ / ‘why not’ behind considered, not considered and converted prescribing decisions.

Overall Objectives

The Research Director has primary oversight in managing all phases of market research for a large volume of syndicated research projects. The Research Director is specifically focused on offering valuable insights and solution-based recommendations within set timelines, ensuring high quality standards and flawless execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversight and management to ensure market research initiatives are designed to meet client business needs and deliver on communicated timelines and deliverables, including:
  • Daily communication with internal team(s) to ensure studies are designed to meet client business needs
  • Conducting project kick-off meetings with client and Research Director/Sales Consultant
  • Responsible for generating as well as maintaining project timelines
  • Creating analysis plans and structure of report deliverables
  • Working with cross-functional teams to coordinate projects from start to finish:
    • Questionnaire design/review/formatting
    • Fieldwork Project Managers – working closely to ensure fielding timings are met
    • Translations – questionnaire & data
    • Programming, Coding, & Data Analytics
    • Project delivery – visuals and other analyses (across teams and internally)
  • Development of written reports for clients
  • Troubleshooting any potential project issues and proactively generating solutions
  • Helping support the business development activities of sales staff
  • Mentoring and supporting the development of the research team (in conjunction with Vice President / Account Directors), including:
  • Developing close working relationships with Research Managers and Research Associates
  • Providing direction and input to Associate staff in any and all project phases where warranted
  • Identifying opportunities and implementing key training initiatives to enhance and improve deliverables
  • Acting as an internal brand and category “expert” for majority of projects managed within a relevant therapy/practice area
  • Supporting business development activities of sales staff

Reporting Structure

Reports in to Vice President, Insights & Analytics

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (i.e. life sciences or business)
  • Minimum 8 yrs experience in quantitative market research including writing questionnaires and servicing clients.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical and healthcare market research fieldwork process an advantage
  • Demonstrated knowledge of market research and ability to perform & execute complex projects, demonstrated excellence in project management
  • Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal)

  • Aptitude for critical thinking & intellectual curiosity
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with SPSS, Tableau, and Google Slides a benefit.
