Job Title: Coordinator, Human Resources

Reports to: Associate Manager, Human Resources

Position Summary: The Coordinator, Human Resources supports the execution of all HR programs with a specific focus on onboarding and offboarding, HRIS management and employee engagement. This position continually looks for opportunities to take initiative and improve the HR department.

  • All employee information entered and filed timely and accurately
  • Initiative taken to spearhead projects to improve the department

Essential Functions (Duties & Responsibilities**):

  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries on all HR related topics
  • Maintain all employee lifecycle changes in ADP, including new hires, terminations, promotions and salary changes
  • Onboard all new employees – run background checks and assist with ADP registration, completion of new hire paperwork, benefit elections, updating organizational charts and start date logistics
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new HR policies and procedures and maintain the employee handbook
  • Process and maintain records for employees including I9 documentation, time off requests and personal information changes.
  • Manage the employee recognition program (Awardco), including approving awards, processing redemptions, and ensuring timely updates to the recognition platform
  • Oversee the employee lunch program service (Sharebite), including adding new hires, coordinating updates with Facilities, and resolving employee order issues
  • Administer workers’ compensation claim by entering claim details, generating claim numbers, distributing necessary forms to employees, and organizing claim-related bills and documentation
  • Maintain OSHA records by logging incident in ADP and ensuring timely annual filing in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Maintain and update SharePoint pages, ensuring content is current and accessible for employees
  • Coordinate the ordering and distribution of business cards for employees as needed
  • Assist with other special project and tasks as assigned

Education/ Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Previous Experience

  • A minimum of one to two (1-2) years’ experience working within human resources

Technology

  • Experience with HRIS software such as ADP
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills

  • Familiarity with federal and state labor law regulations, minimum wage, etc.

The pay range for this role is $20.00 to $24.00 per hour. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience and certifications. In addition to those factors, we consider the relative pay of our current employees in similar positions when making a final offer.
