We are seeking a Senior Director of Education (East) who will oversee Operations at the Education Centers in Enola, State College, Warrington, Scranton, PA and Fort Worth, TX.

Salary: up to $90,000 DOE

The Senior Director plays a key leadership role in the management and leadership of the organization and their identified Division, overseeing specific programmatic areas or functional departments. This position provides the overall direction and implementation of strategic initiatives for assigned programs. The position is responsible for forecasting budgeting and personnel needs, as well as evaluating current and proposed programming to determine and implement changes when needed. The position managers varying levels of staff based on program assignment.

Program Management And Quality Assurance

  • Set high standards for organizational performance, accountability, and transparency, driving a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and monitor key performance metrics to track progress toward goals and evaluate organizational effectiveness.
  • Ensures implementation of approved procedural and operating practices for all services in keeping with legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements
  • Conducts monthly operational reporting and local performance and quality improvement meetings to monitor progress through measurable data to determine the effectiveness and need to make changes.

Financial Management And Resource Management

  • Take responsibility for the profit and loss (P&L) of the assigned region.
  • Collaborate with management and fiscal analysts in the budget development process, identifying trends and profitability concerns, and making appropriate. recommendations to address business growth and/or needed improvement.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve financial sustainability.

Staff Leadership And Development

  • Set clear expectations and performance standards for program leadership, empowering them to take ownership of their roles and contribute to the organization’s success.
  • Communicates and emulates the mission, goals, and policies of Merakey and division to direct reports, and create and implement strategies for those in the assigned region/programs to accomplish them.
  • Build and nurture high-performing teams by recruiting, hiring, and retaining talented individuals who are aligned with the organization’s values and goals.
  • Promote teamwork, communication, and collaboration among team members, fostering a culture of mutual support and accountability.

Partnership Development And Stakeholder Engagement

  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with community organizations, government agencies, funders, and other stakeholders to enhance programmatic impact and sustainability.
  • Develops action plans for resolving undesirable business results and consumer concerns in collaboration with direct reports.

  • Displays a clear understanding of the industry and makes data-driven decisions to optimize and improve service delivery.
  • Experience in proposal writing, budget management, and contract compliance.
  • Experience in building and sustaining collaborative relationships with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations and funders.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and environments, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity
  • Experience with expanding and cultivating thought leaders and using market intelligence to inform strategy.
  • Ability to navigate organizational change, lead change initiatives, and engage staff in the change process to promote buy-in, resilience, and adaptability in response to internal and external changes
