Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Merchandiser to join our ultra-luxury retail store team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of luxury branding, and a passion for curating an extraordinary shopping experience. This role involves developing and executing merchandising strategies to maximize sales, enhance customer engagement, and maintain the brand’s impeccable reputation.

Business Responsibility Areas

• Merchandising Strategy:

Develop and implement merchandising plans that align with the brand’s luxury positioning and target audience. Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences.

• Inventory Management:

Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure appropriate stock levels of high-demand products.

Analyze sales data to forecast trends and adjust inventory accordingly.

• Vendor Onboarding & Coordination:

Liaise with designers and suppliers to curate a selection of products that align with the brand’s image.

Negotiate favorable terms with vendors while maintaining product quality.

• Customer Experience:

Work closely with the sales team to understand customer feedback and refine product offerings.

Organize exclusive events or launches to enhance customer engagement and loyalty.

• Performance Analysis:

Monitor sales performance and provide actionable insights to improve revenue and profitability.

Prepare regular reports on merchandising effectiveness and suggest improvements.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in merchandising within the luxury retail sector.

Strong understanding of luxury consumer behavior and market dynamics.

Previous Experience

Proficient in inventory management and retail analytics tools.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail.
