Program Project Manager
Job Description
In this role, you will have to prepare and closely monitor all the main streams of the Programme Planning, including those relevant to the Programme Team with specific attention to the risk management actions in terms of follow-up and effectiveness. It is also part of your job to liaise with the Manufacturing Program, Quality and the ITC Teams. You will have to coordinate among all key Avio Aero Functions, the process owners, other GE Aviation entities, and all Programme industrial Partners to meet the Programme goals and targets.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- You will be active part of the Eurodrone Team with the role to prepare and closely monitor the Level2/Level3 Joint Development Phase of the Engine at AvioAero, at GE subsidiaries, and with/for all the Programme stakeholders including the main Customer Airbus Defense and Space.
- Liaise with the Manufacturing Program Team to secure a detailed plan for the First, Second, and Third Engine to Test
- Plan and monitor all the Programme activities for the “Paquito Engine” project that will be allocated at INTA (Madrid, Spain)
- Plan and monitor all the Programme activities for the Sangone test facility.
- Liaise with the Quality Team for any aspect of the Quality in AvioAero and at ADS that is relevant to the Engine.
- Be the reference person working with the ITC Team to plan and collect all the export licenses needed for both AA and its Suppliers. Monitor and report the license status.
- Plan and monitor all the Certification work streams in close contact with the Engineering Team
- Support the Programme/Gate Reviews.
- Assure timely heads-up of the issues and collaborate to resolve them.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering.
- Consistent experience in aviation Programme Management working as Programme-Project Manager.
- Good knowledge of the main aspects of the whole engine on engineering, manufacturing technology, production planning.
- Strong interpersonal leadership and ability to work in a multi-functional Team.
- Able to develop network among stakeholders.
- Problem solving mindset.
- Prompt communication and sense of urgency
- Able to prevent and identify Programme critical issues.
- Take in charge, self-government and self-determination.
- Ability to document, plan, and execute established projects, and management skills.
- Strong oral and written English/Italian communication.
- Available to frequent travels.
- Italian citizenship.
- Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required.
