QC Inspector

Job Description

• Quality Control
• Ensure all construction civil activities comply with project specifications, approved shop drawings, approved method of statements
• Conduct inspections for materials, workmanship, and final products prior to consultant inspections and ensure project quality standards and company quality standards are maintained.
• Inspection& Testing
• Perform regular site inspections and material testing as per approved method statements and authority requirements and ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans).
• Verify concrete pouring, reinforcement, blockwork, plastering, and finishing work meet the required standards.
• Snagging and de snagging prior to consultant inspections and reporting to QA/ QC engineers.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain detailed inspection records, test results, and NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and ensure corrective actions and close are recorded and taken approval form engineer.
• Prepare and submit daily and weekly quality reports to the QA/QC Engineer
• Submission of test results for consultant review and approval.
• Issue internal NCR to sub-contractor for Non-conformance.
