2, Core Job Responsibilities
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide overall leadership, direction and coordination of all plant activities. Establish priorities and strategies
- Develop and administer plans and programs to meet manufacturing objectives and financial plans, in accordance with division policies and goals, marketing forecasts, quality requirements and budgetary targets
- Monitor actual vs. plan operations, taking corrective actions as necessary to meet plan objectives Accountable for operating and payroll expenses and capital budget
- Establish policies, guidelines and procedures for the development of operational objectives, budgets, plan and central procedures
- Maintain relationships with local partner, sister divisions, marketing, sales, outside agencies and local communities
- Demonstrate accountability and responsibility for EHS performance and compliance through active participation and support of Abbott’s EHS program. Assure compliance with local regulatory and Abbott EHS policies, rules and laws, being responsible for maintain safe working place
- Assure plant operation is in compliance with local and Abbott qualities policies, GMP and regulatory rules and regulations. In addition, meet all quality and regulatory requirements for all countries that are shipped
- Being responsible for compliance of production operation (including formation process, storage, etc.), SOP implementing, correct batch production records which shall be final reviewed by QA
- Assure the completion of the necessary validation
- Being responsible for the well-maintained condition of manufacturing facility and process equipment
- Being a role to actively advocate the concept of continuous improvement and actively introduce or implement improvement program, maintain operation in class A standard and keep on monitoring KPI accordingly
- To finish any work assigned by Regional Director
People Management
- Develop, motivate and coach the plant team and provide guidance
- Set and monitor targets for each individual in the team to ensure high performance management
- Ensure team activities to comply with Company Business Code of Conduct and all local applicable laws within scope of function responsibility
SITES DIRECTOR
- Support employees in implementing of their growth plans. Develop and maintain succession plan and address future staffing issues in a proactive manner
Minimum Background/ Experience Required
Work Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing at a senior level with evident success
- Experience in leading a team of plant professionals

- Meet the requirement for a commercially astute, articulate, technically strong, dynamic, insightful and influential leader with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels
- Ability to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision-making
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, teambuilding, and problem-solving skills
- Skilled communicator with well-developed verbal, written and presentation ability
- Master Lean, Six Sigma (preferable)

Minimum Education Required
- University degree or above graduation with pharmacology, engineering, production of general management background
- MBA qualification
