Our Data Analytics (DA) team is seeking an early-career individual who has interest and background in data query development and front-end UX design. In this role you will use your excellent verbal and written communication skills to work within the Information Management (IM) team and provide support to customers across all CPCCo functional areas.
A typical day in the Data Analytics team involves the following:
- Participate in discussions with clients to gather reporting and analytics requirements.
- Capture and analyze business requirements for reports from clients.
- Maintain existing solutions and develop new solutions to support business operations.
- Perform analysis of system data to understand and map data connections between business systems.
- Extract, transform, load data from diverse sources.
- Work within established company procedures to build and maintain Power BI dataflows, data sets and reports.
- Design, develop, test and document reports, dashboards, apps, and other analytic tools used across the company.
- Perform work in a safe, compliant, and cost-effective manner.
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks to meet evolving priorities.
Basic Qualifications
- Intermediate Grade 14: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 2 or more years of relevant experience.
- Intermediate Grade 15: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 3 or more years of relevant experience.
The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate’s education, training, and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI Service, Power BI Desktop, Microsoft Office software.
- Experience with M Power Query and DAX
- Familiar with computer languages such as SQL, M, R, Python, HTML, and/or JavaScript.
- Experience using data analytics platforms.
- Understanding of data science principles including the practical application of machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate’s education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.
Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week):
- Intermediate Grade 14: $78,500 – $91,975.
- Intermediate Grade 15: $80,225 – $101,175.
In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
