About The Role
As HR Associate you will build relationships with employees and managers in your assigned region, acting as their go-to resource for workplace knowledge, guidance, and support. This position reports to the Director of Human Resources and is based in our Downtown Boston office. We are currently on a hybrid schedule requiring at least two days per week in the office and remaining days eligible for remote work.
About Your Impact
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations
- Support employees and their management team in navigating work injuries and leaves of absence with empathy
- Perform check-ins with new hires and their managers to provide support and/or address concerns
- Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback and continually improve the workplace
- Provide guidance to managers on performance management best practices
- Welcome new hires to the company by hosting our virtual new hire HR orientation meetings
- Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with inquiries
- Assist with non-complex employee relations issues
About You
- 2-4 years of relevant HR experience
- Familiarity with state and federal leave laws
- Excellent customer service, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to juggle competing priorities
- Comfort with computers, Microsoft Office products, and HRIS
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- College degree preferred but not required
- SHRM-CP or PHR preferred but not required
