HR & Recruitment Operations – Associate Partner

The Role

We are seeking an HR & Recruitment Operations expert to drive efficiency in our HR operational processes and support talent acquisition. This role will play a critical part in ensuring smooth HR systems, data integrity, and compliance across the UK and US, while also contributing to recruitment efforts.

The ideal candidate will have strong HR operations experience within insurance or financial services, expertise in employee relations (ER), and a passion for process improvement. They will thrive in an organized, fast-moving environment and enjoy leading key HR projects that enhance how we manage talent, interviews, and HR data.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations & Compliance:

  • Oversee and optimize HR systems (HRIS, ATS) in collaboration with the Associate HRBP.
  • Ensure HR data integrity, reporting accuracy, and compliance with UK and US regulations.
  • Manage and support employee relations (ER) cases, providing expert guidance on employment law and best practices.
  • Maintain and improve HR policies, ensuring alignment with business needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with finance on payroll, compensation, and benefits administration.
  • Drive operational HR projects, such as performance management, talent development, and interview process enhancements.

Talent Acquisition & Coordination

  • Support full-cycle recruitment, including interview coordination, data collection, and process improvements.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to ensure a seamless and structured hiring experience.
  • Oversee and refine the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to drive efficiency.
  • Assist in building strong talent pipelines for key operational functions.

Process Improvement & Strategic HR Projects

  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance HR operations, recruitment workflows, and data management.
  • Implement automation and technology-driven solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Utilize data and analytics to track HR and recruitment metrics, informing strategic decision-making.

Experience & Skills

  • 7+ years of HR operations experience, preferably within insurance or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations (ER) and employment law in the UK and/or US.
  • Experience managing HR systems (HRIS, ATS) and optimizing HR data management.
  • Background in recruitment or a strong willingness to learn and contribute to talent acquisition.
  • HR qualification (CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a proactive and solutions-driven mindset.
