Restaurant Brands International is looking for a Manager, Graphic Designer to join the Burger King Canada team. This is an exciting opportunity working alongside the Marketing team and supporting the overall Canadian marketing business.
We’re looking for a talented creative lead who can transform concepts and ideas into creative visual representations across both print and digital media. You will be responsible for the implementation of Burger King’s core brand guidelines across all guest experiences including, but not limited to: mobile app, digital and print advertising, email marketing, social media and out of home displays. Candidates must have strong proficiency in all current design suite software and have a strong understanding of UX/UI design and tools that drive the best visual design content and practices.
Bringing a combination of strong project management, communication, and time management skills, along with the ability to deliver multimedia content, is critical to this role’s success. Roles And Responsibilities
- Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within the established Burger King brand identity.
- Ensure all design elements align with brand guidelines and company standards.
- Support both national campaign creative and local franchisee advertising efforts.
- Develop and produce high-quality graphics, illustrations and layouts for various marketing materials including, but not limited to: mobile app, digital advertising, animation, email marketing, social media and out of home displays.
- Manage the design and uploading process for all project materials, based on best practices for using a content management system.
- Communicate design decisions and specifications in scalable and reproducible formats.
- Collaborate with internal marketing/digital teams and external agency partners to conceptualize and execute creative campaigns and leverage promotional materials.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a design-related discipline preferred, such as graphic design or visual communications
- In-house or agency designer experience
- 4+ years of work experience in graphic design or related field
- Proficiency in design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is required.
- Established and proven knowledge of typography, color, shape, design, and animation.
- Strong knowledge of web design and development tools, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and content management systems (CMS).
- Highly organized with meticulous follow-through to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of UX/UI design and best practices.
- Ability to code custom HTML, CSS, JavaScript, emails including implementation with Braze is an asset.
- Experience in QSR or CPG is an asset.
- Proficiency in French is an asset.
- This role is located in our Toronto Restaurant Support Center
