About The Investment Research Team

The Investment Research Team is at the core of every investment product designed at Wealthsimple. Our team combines deep market expertise with strategic vision, developing best-in-class investment strategies that serve our growing client base. We analyze financial products and securities with a data-driven approach, ensuring our offerings meet client needs while aligning with our mission to empower people with financial freedom.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

  • Refine and enhance our asset allocation process using a data-driven analytical approach.
  • Collaborate across teams—including Product, Marketing, Sales, and Engineering—to support high-priority initiatives.
  • Translate investor needs into data models and analyses that inform key business decisions.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, ensuring our investment products remain competitive and innovative in the retail wealth management space.
  • Take ownership and deliver results—we believe in shipping fast and learning along the way.
  • Work remotely, from anywhere in Canada (our offices are in Toronto, but we are a remote-first workforce).
