Supply Chain Administrator

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for production planning & scheduling across all API, Pharm & Packaging production lines at Morpeth. Plans should ensure schedule adherence is achievable in alignment with the agreed S&OP plan to optimise output and minimize line downtime through detailed analysis and alignment of material/ resource requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Scheduling;
• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer demands and production capacity.
• Coordinate with key stake holders (procurement, material planning, QC) to align schedules with material availability and resource capacity.
• Resource Management:
• Ensure the availability of raw materials, line capacity, and labor required for production is aligned with stakeholders
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify and resolve resource conflicts to optimize production flow.
• Order Management:
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to confirm production timelines and delivery commitments.
• Monitor order status and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Performance Monitoring:
• Track production progress and address delays or disruptions promptly.
• Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
• Communication:
• Serve as the liaison between production, procurement and sales teams to ensure alignment and address issues proactively.
• Report production performance metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure all production activities adhere to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION:

Ideally educated to degree level in a relevant discipline

Relevant/ Desired Experience

At least 3 years working in a production planning and scheduling role

Materials requirements planning

Detailed knowledge of the Supply Chain processes and principles and their impact on customer service

Demonstrate strong service orientation & customer focus

SAP/ ERP proficiency
