Business Analytics Manager

What We Are Looking For

• 6+ years of work experience in a data-centric or business modeling roles (likely credit, consulting, or banking but we are open to other relevant work experience)
• Proven ability to build & develop a team of junior analysts, own the team’s agenda, and influence senior stakeholders on high-value priorities
• Expert in SQL with proficiency in Python or another scripting language, with the ability to teach analysts technical skills and coach them on the right data or metrics to pull to understand the problem at hand
• Someone who is self-motivated, driven, and willing to tackle a problem head-on
• A team player who knows how to communicate effectively, collaborate cross-functionally, and optimize for the entire company
• A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Math, or other quantitative discipline
• Fluency in English

Your Role

• Own a full business program – define objectives and KPIs, establish team rhythms and rituals, and drive work agenda towards improving Stori’s overall performance via data analysis & visualization, A/B testing, and statistical modeling
• Build & coach team of analysts to develop analytical & technical skills (onboarding analysts in SQL, Python, and AWS tools), impact the bottom line, and retain talent
• Work directly with senior leadership to isolate & prioritize key initiatives towards achieving Stori’s goals, influencing adoption of your strategic recommendations underpinned by data analysis
• Effectively lead the team along with leaders of cross-functional verticals like Product, Finance, Data Science, or Operations to achieve Stori’s goals and improve customer outcomes by implementing data-driven solutions
