Biller (ABA Department)

Job Description

We are an established Early Intervention Agency dedicated to empowering children through life-changing services such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Our mission is to provide high-quality, child-centered care to support developmental growth in young children.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Biller (ABA) to join our team. This role will involve managing Medicaid billing processes for early intervention services using the innovative EI Hub system. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the new EI Hub and experience with Medicaid billing for early intervention programs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant guidelines and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process and submit Medicaid claims for early intervention services (including ABA therapy) through the EI Hub system
  • Review, verify, and correct service documentation for billing compliance and completeness
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Medicaid regulations and early intervention billing requirements to minimize claim denials
  • Act as a liaison between the agency, Medicaid, and other stakeholders to address claim-related issues or inquiries
  • Reconcile billing statements, track claims, and follow up on unpaid or rejected claims in a timely manner
  • Ensure accurate recordkeeping of all billing data and compliance with audit requirements
  • Proactively stay updated on changes to the EI Hub system and Medicaid policies
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on billing processes as needed

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Medicaid billing, preferably for early intervention services such as ABA therapy
  • Proficiency in using the EI Hub system is mandatory
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and handling confidential patient information
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an Early Intervention Agency or healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of early intervention services and terminology
  • Proficiency in relevant billing software and tools
