THE TEAM

The mission of the Global Logistics Department is to manage freight transportation into our Distribution Network

THE OPPORTUNITY

Aritzia is growing and our Inbound Logistics team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for ensuring the timely arrival of freight into our Distribution Network. As the Senior Sea Freight Specialist, Inbound Logistics you will support with managing the efficient flow of goods and related information between the point of origin and the point of consumption. THE ROLE

As the Senior Sea Freight Specialist, Inbound Logistics you will:

  • Execute best-in-class sea freight set-up, including volume planning and booking coordination.
  • Execute on the best possible logistics experience for customers, including in-transit tracking and exception handling
  • Mitigate risks and impacts associated with daily operations, minimizing potential disruption to the business.
  • Manage departmental administration, ensuring the day-to-day business operates optimally.

THE QUALIFICATIONS

The Senior Sea Freight Specialist, Inbound Logistics has:

  • Proven skills, education, and/or applicable certifications in:
  • Sea freight experience importing into North America
  • Working with international service providers
  • Customs procedures and documentation handling
  • INCOTERMS
  • Microsoft Office and Intermediate or advanced Excel proficiency
  • A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia’s Values and Business and People Leadership principles
  • The ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners
  • A commitment to quality and investing in results that add value to the business

THE COMPENSATION

The typical hiring range for this position is $24–$48 CAD per hour. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
