Job Description
NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Account Executive, Brand Marketing based in our Charlotte, North Carolina office.
The Account Executive, Brand Marketing is responsible for providing guidance around the company’s intellectual property and execution of key marketing initiatives and campaigns.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Manage elements for key marketing initiatives including Season Launch, NASCAR Salutes, and Playoffs.
- Provide guidance around brand direction for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage campaign production timelines, deliverables documents, and approval processes.
- Oversee the creation of paid media assets as assigned and the delivery of creative assets to internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee internal and agency status reports.
- Assist in the maintenance and growth of broadcast partner relationships.
- Oversee the NASCAR Brand Portal and serve as liaison to the industry for new user access.
- Support the execution of the full year media strategy; provide back-up support and assistance as needed for media trafficking and schedule changes/updates.
- Participate in the development of intellectual property and guideline documents.
- Serve as key point of contact between Brand Marketing and internal departments for approvals of partner programs and materials using the company’s intellectual property.
- Collaborate with the internal Creative Design team in living out brand direction and provide guidance as needed.
- Oversee licensed product approval system and partner with the Licensing department on larger initiatives.
- Facilitate the resolution of day-to-day brand identity issues/questions.
- Key contact for legal in review, approval and usage of new intellectual property.
- Budget management and tracking.
- Travel: 10-15% including some weekends.
Required skills / experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four (4) a four-year college or university and a minimum of three (3) years of experience in marketing, marketing/digital agency, media, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Project management experience in the sports and/or consumer brand industry is strongly desired.
- Proficient on company-provided hardware and software. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Familiarity and baseline proficiency with Adobe design products are an added bonus.
