Job Purpose

The Technical Service Specialist is responsible for providing technical service and product support at an automotive OEM paint shop. This role ensures smooth operations by assisting customers, diagnosing faults, and maintaining quality and compliance standards.

Main Job Responsibilities

  • Customer Support: Address and resolve technical issues, complaints, and service-related concerns.
  • Operational Compliance: Ensure all processes align with regulatory and internal quality standards.
  • Fault Diagnosis: Identify and resolve paint application and coating performance issues.
  • Product Testing & Adjustments: Conduct on-site tests and make necessary product adjustments.
  • Inventory & Demand Planning: Monitor product usage trends and assist in supply forecasting.
  • Training & Knowledge Sharing: Provide technical training to customers on coating applications.
  • Process Optimization: Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records, reports, and customer data for business development.

Job Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical service role.

Basic computer skills (MS Office, CRM systems, technical software).

Good English language skills.

Ability to work in field-based roles with direct customer interactions.
