About The Role

Based in our Luton office you will lead and support our design teams delivering projects including but not limited to Highways, Rail Infrastructure; Ecology and Environment, and Building sectors.

As part of the day-to-day role you will manage medium projects or several small projects with complex features. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the effective delivery of technical outputs/ services across a range of projects to programme, cost and quality. This will be an exciting and challenging role, suited to a self-motivated, organised and collaborative team player.

We are looking for someone with existing experience as Project Manager from a consultancy background, who is looking to progress to the next level and have greater autonomy. You will already be an experienced and confident Project Manager leading project delivery including: client relationship, commercial strategy, risk identification and mitigation.

You should hold a formal project management qualification, or have equivalent experience, and be working towards chartership.

Main Duties And Experience Required

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within the professional project management role, demonstrable experience managing complex multi-disciplinary projects within a Consultancy.
  • Experienced as Project Manager, ideally in the consultancy sector.
  • Experience to act as NEC ECC Project Manager delivering the role in line with the requirements of the New Engineering Contract (NEC).
  • Be able to edit, manage, interrogate and approve programmes to WBS.
  • Pre- and Post-contract design/ project management expertise over all project lifecycle stages.
  • Working knowledge of CDM regulations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to deliver robust stakeholder management processes.
  • Ability to maintain accurate project records to contractual requirements.
  • Ability to chair and take accurate notes of meetings.
