Kota is the world’s first fully integrated benefits platform, where insurance and retirement providers are powered and billed in one place. We do this by building the infrastructure on the Internet for insurance providers to get online and enhance their distribution opportunities for a new era of workers—those with increased financial literacy, expecting consumer-first user experiences and a global outlook.

About The Role

• As a Founders Associate, you’ll work directly alongside our Chief of Staff and Founders on high-impact initiatives at Kota. This is a unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience in scaling a company, solve mission-critical challenges, and have high impact.
• The role is fast-paced and dynamic, ideal for someone who thrives in problem-solving, driving change, and collaborating across teams.
• As a key member of Kota’s team, you’ll support senior leaders across departments and track key projects to ensure execution and alignment with company goals.

What You’ll Do

• Strategic Projects: Identify and lead high-impact initiatives across Kota, tackling key business challenges and driving meaningful change.
• Problem-Solving: Dive into complex operational or strategic issues, diagnose pain points, and execute solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Operational Excellence: Track, monitor, and enhance key performance metrics to drive company-wide accountability and operational improvements.
• Cross-Functional Execution: Work across teams to align priorities, accelerate execution, and build the internal systems that enable teams to move faster with greater impact.
• Scaling Best Practices: Develop scalable frameworks, workflows, and playbooks to support Kota’s continued growth.

About You

• Excellent Communicator: You communicate clearly and effectively, ensuring alignment across teams and building strong relationships.
• Analytical Problem-Solver: You can break down complex problems, manage ambiguity, and execute solutions independently.
• Experience in Finance, Fintech, or Financial Systems: You have some exposure to financial operations, fintech, payments, or related fields, and are comfortable working with numbers and financial processes.
• High Performer: You have a track record of excellence in your chosen field—whether in academics, work experience, or extracurricular achievements.
• Adaptable & Growth-Oriented: You’re eager to learn, comfortable wearing multiple hats, and excited about the opportunity to grow alongside a scaling business.
