The Role

To work as part of the Scantech Offshore Middle East team as stores and inventory supervisor in order to coordinate from order to delivery, of all required components to enable project load out operations and on-going support.

General stores duties such as stock counts, goods arrival, issue of stock, ordering from suppliers, completing the packing off spares containers, controlling all associated costings, compiling audit paperwork.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain stock levels in Saudi Arabia stores to a satisfactory level- reorder when minimum levels are met.
  • Perform monthly stock takes to ensure stock counts are accurate and audits are passed.
  • Issue parts to technicians performing maintenance and allocate costs to the correct projects to maintain an accurate P&L.
  • Order and receive stock into Saudi Arabia.
  • Update remote warehouses when parts have been used.
  • Pack spares containers and create a remote warehouse for jobs mobilizing from Saudi Arabia.
  • Manage junior stores personnel.
  • Establish a good relationship with local suppliers and ensure we are meeting the required QA level of materials supplied while reducing costs where possible.

Qualifications & Experience

Previous Stores/procurement background would be preferred.

A mechanical background would be an advantage along with a forklift license.

You must be able to work on own initiative.

In house equipment training to be provided to give a better understanding of the equipment you will be working with along with in house training on the systems used.

  • This role is to be based in Saudi Arabia therefore, you will need the right to reside and work in the country to apply for this position.
