Job Description
Reports to the Program Manager of YCSP. The YCSP Assistant Manager will directly support the supervision of caseworkers and other team members. The Assistant Manager works alongside the Program Manager of the YCSP and assists in the day-to-day responsibilities of the YCSP to maintain the operations of the program.

Position Responsibilities
- Assist with program development, including task delegation and direction.
- Supervise case workers to ensure youth and client needs are met.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and practice standards.
- Support staff in obtaining necessary resources for the YCSP program.
- Ensure accurate data collection and timely reporting for evaluations.
- Provide documentation and follow-up support on tasks and issues.
- Notify Program Manager of any disciplinary needs or guidance.
- Assist in balancing staff duties and responsibilities.
- Foster a collaborative, positive workplace culture.
- Build relationships with agency partners and community members.
- Consult with Program Manager and Recovery Alberta Care Manager on staff roles, programming, and scheduling.
- Assist with interviewing, hiring, and new employee orientation.
- Help update and maintain YCSP program documentation.
- Attend staff meetings, case conferences, and other required meetings.
- Provide coverage for DBT Skill/Mindfulness Activities when needed.
- Co-facilitate ARC and DBT Groups during staff absences.
Qualifications
- Post Secondary Degree in a relevant field of study (Human Services, Social Work) and/or relevant work experience
- At least one year of experience in leading and building teams.
- At least 2 years of experience delivering community-based services.
- Experience networking with a range of partners and stakeholders.
- Experience working at all levels across teams and/or departments within an organization.
- Police Check with the Vulnerable Sector and Child and Youth Intervention Check completed within the past six months
- Valid First Aid certificate or enrolled in a future course
- Valid Class 5 Non GDL license and access to a reliable vehicle
