Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Provides leadership and direction to CASAS Engineers in carrying out engineering systems functions by maximizing efficiency and minimizing work hours and errors.
  • Review and establishes rectification plans where reliability targets and KPIs are not being met due to an ongoing technical issue.
  • Supervises the review and implementation of Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins related to Aircraft Systems and Structures (except PowerPlant systems) to ensure that CEB’s aircraft are configured and maintained using airworthiness standards established by the aircraft/component manufacturer and governing authority.
  • Coordinates the establishment and execution of project plans for the introduction of new aircraft products/equipment, aircraft services, regulatory mandates and operational enhancements as required by EFM and/or Operations.
  • Review aircraft/component modification proposals and supervise execution of modification plans and projects related to Aircraft System
  • Review and establishes new departmental procedures (E.g. MCM/MEH revisions) relevant to CASAS. Instructs CASAS Engineers in company and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Provides liaison with other departments within CEB to ensure proper coordination of support efforts and availability of required information.
  • Approve AD/58 embodiments and execution related to CASAS.
  • Approve resolution/closing of CPARs based on the due date alloted by CEB QAED,

Qualifications :

  • Licensed Aeronautical Engineer
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Preferably with Supervisory experience.
  • Must have an excellent and working knowledge of current requirements related to Avionics

Engineering.
