Post of Research Assistant (Last date for submission of application 21-03-2025 and appear for selection committee on 25-03-2025 at 02.00 PM)

Applications are invited on the prescribed form available in the office of undersigned on payment of Rs.200/- in shape of Bank Draft in favour of ‘Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana’ payable at Ludhiana, on any working day from 9.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. along with attested copies of the certificates for one position of Research Assistant @ Rs.37,000 (fixed) per month in the Project “Assessment of Oilseeds and Pulses Production and processing Potential for Economic Prosperity and Sustainable Development: A Study on Punjab” CSS-101 (PC-6445)” for a period of six months or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.

Qualifications for the post of Research Assistant are as under:

Essential

• Graduation in any discipline with at least 60 percent marks.
• Post Graduate in subject relevant to research or social science/Extension Education/Extension Education and communication/ Economics with minimum OCPA 6.50/10.00 basis or 65% marks with NET/M.Phil/Ph.D.
• Matric level certificate of Punjabi language of Punjab School Education Board or other recognized Board

DESIRABLE

• Impressive Interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in use of spreadsheets and word processor software.

The last date for the receipt of applications (duly completed in all respects) in this office (KVK, Bathinda) is 21.03.2025. Incomplete applications or unsupported by the requisite documents will not be entertained. The candidate should appear for interview on 25.03.2025 at 02:00 P.M. in the office of Director of Extension Education, PAU, Ludhiana. No separate information for interview will be sent. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

The appointment will be for a period of six months in the first instance. The person so appointed will have either to deposit one month salary or to submit one month’s notice or the salary for the period falling short of one month if he/she opts to quit the university service and vice-versa.
