What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Receive, screen, and schedule direct callers and walk-in customers for appointments and group programs
- Maintain current schedules for staff and manage daily scheduling to ensure timely notifications to customers
- Enroll and schedule customers in workshops, classes, and individual appointments
- Participate in emergency response exercises and execute assigned responsibilities during emergencies
- Ensure accurate entry and tracking of information in required systems related to services provided
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- High school diploma or GED with two years of experience in administrative support in a medical or social service office
- Proficiency with computer and office automation software
- Experience providing scheduling and customer service support
- Ability to multi-task and manage multi-line telephone systems
- Understanding and empathy for diverse military families and personnel
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Knowledge of the FFSMIS system
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365
