The team is seeking a strategic and forward-thinking finance leader—someone who goes beyond traditional financial management to actively contribute to business growth, operational efficiency, and long-term profitability. This role is not just about cost-cutting but about identifying revenue-generating opportunities, financial discipline, and scalable strategies to support the company’s expansion.

As Vice President of Finance & Operations, this high-impact leadership position requires balancing financial strategy with operational excellence. The role involves working closely with the CEO and leadership team to translate overarching business objectives into actionable and financially sound initiatives.

What the Role Entails

Financial Strategy & Growth

• Identify revenue-generating opportunities and strategic cost efficiencies to support long-term success.
• Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to ensure data-driven and forward-looking decision-making.
• Develop and implement pricing strategies to optimize profitability.
• Oversee financial modeling and forecasting to guide proactive business decisions.
• Manage cash flow, capital allocation, and investment strategies to drive sustainable expansion.

Operational Excellence & Scalability

• Collaborate with executive leadership to refine operations and enhance efficiency.
• Implement automation, process improvements, and financial controls to create a scalable foundation.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial and operational health.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities while maintaining quality and growth objectives.

Financial Leadership & Governance

• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for leadership, investors, and the Board.
• Oversee accounting policies, audits, tax compliance, and financial regulations.
• Support fundraising efforts and financial due diligence as the company scales.
• Work with external auditors and legal teams to maintain compliance with financial regulations.

What the Ideal Candidate Brings

• 8+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in high-growth environments (experience in food tech, startups, or SaaS is preferred).
• Strong background in strategic financial planning, business operations, and revenue generation.
• Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and capital strategy in growth-stage companies.
• Proven ability to optimize costs without compromising business growth.
• Deep understanding of GAAP, financial controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in M&A, investor relations, and fundraising is a plus.
