About The Role
The Senior Operations Manager will collaborate directly with the Operations Lead and the executive leadership team to drive essential business projects and initiatives. This position involves coordinating effectively with multiple departments, identifying obstacles, and collaborating with key stakeholders to determine the best strategies for continued scalability and growth.
As the Operations team expands, this individual will also mentor and train junior team members. The ideal candidate will consider complex problems as opportunities for solutions, have a solid understanding of how to leverage data for strategic initiatives, and showcase effective communication across diverse skill sets and personalities.
Key Responsibilities
– Develop a thorough understanding of both automated and manual processes that support the organization’s operations.
– Drive key projects and initiatives in conjunction with the leadership team.
– Propose solutions and ideas to address immediate process disruptions to key stakeholders.
– Investigate and identify bottlenecks within company processes and workflows.
– Design and implement scalable processes across various departments and organizations.
– Review the projects and work completed by Operations Associates and Analysts.
– Contribute to training and mentoring new team members.
– Utilize data to support strategic projects and initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
– 3-5 years of experience in Operations roles or related fields.
– Educational background or degree in a relevant STEM or Business discipline.
– Strong project management skills.
– Exceptional organizational abilities.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Keen attention to detail.
– Ability to analyze large data sets to identify trends, areas for improvement, and actionable insights, utilizing scripting, database languages, and spreadsheets.
– Proficiency in relevant software/tools.
– Proactive, self-motivated, and autonomous, with the ability to learn quickly.
– Comfortable with frequent context-switching and prioritizing tasks.
Preferred – Nice to Haves
– Programming experience (1-3 years) in Python, JavaScript, SQL, etc.
