Educational Qualifications: BE/B.Tech-Mechanical

Desired Experience Level (in years): 15 to 20 years

Objectives: Manage Procurement functions for complete Procure to Pay cycle in Project based environment with focus on Materials Management, Supply Chain Management encompassing vendor management. Sourcing of Mechanical components (Fabrication, Machining, Plastic, structures, Mast, Bearings, Gear Box, Actuators, and Cable Assemblies) both from domestic and foreign suppliers.

Major Deliverables:

1. Review of Drawings / BOM’s
2. Awareness of drawing reading and understand the terminologies.
3. Strongly experienced in supplier development activities, process oriented
4. Involvement in strategic sourcing activities, supplier relationship management, Risk analysis

Essential Attributes:

1. Sourcing of Mechanical components.
2. Negotiation with Overseas suppliers.
3. Supplier Management.

Desirable Attributes:

Should be having Manufacturing Industries experience & exposure to Processes like Fabrication / Welding / Machining. Should have knowledge of raw materials / GD & T / Understanding of manufacturing drawings & BOM’s / Follow-up with Vendors
