Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity in the large and growing segment of healthcare and well-being. As a member of the ComPsych Business Applications team, you will work in a dynamic and collaborative work environment. You will use your QA expertise to collaborate with a growing team through quality assurance efforts on projects critical to business stakeholders. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter who proposes solutions, follows a disciplined approach, and has a passion for finding issues before they reach production. The Quality Assurance Analyst will operate as an integral part of a high-performing technical team and will clearly communicate project status to senior team members and management, proactively assist peers and resolve conflicts, and collaborate with development teams to deliver exceptional software experiences.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing across multiple platforms
- Verify software quality in web applications, batch processing jobs, and microservice ecosystems
- Document and track software defects using issue tracking systems ; propose ideas to correct processes to avoid future defects
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce, isolate, and verify bug fixes
- Participate in planning sessions, daily standups, and retrospectives
- Automate test procedures where applicable to improve efficiency and coverage
- Validate API endpoints and service integrations across microservices
- Monitor batch processing workflows for reliable execution and data integrity
- Coordinate and communicate QA cycles with development managers and business analysts
- Reviews tests and test scripts for completeness and accuracy

Job Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, preferably in web and distributed systems
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Experience with test management and defect tracking systems
- Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with batch processing concepts and asynchronous workflows
- Experience testing microservice architectures preferred
- Basic SQL knowledge for database validation
- Ability to write clear, concise bug reports and test documentation
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science or Engineering preferred
- Working knowledge of relational databases along with development and data modeling experience is highly desirable
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, WebDriver, Protractor, Cypress, and/or JUnit is preferred
