About the role
Teleperformance is seeking Customer Care Representatives to provide exceptional customer service in a remote work environment. As the first point of contact for customers, representatives will handle inquiries, resolve issues, and offer support through phone, email, chat, video, and social media. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused mindset.
Location: Remote (USA)
Key responsibilities
- Connect with customers to address inquiries, concerns, and issues
- Provide assistance through phone, email, chat, video, or social media
- Calmly handle and de-escalate difficult situations when necessary
- Escalate interactions when appropriate
- Process payments and respond to assistance requests
- Track and document customer interactions for reporting purposes
- Provide feedback on recurring issues and customer concerns
- Offer upselling opportunities if required
Required qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Six months of customer service experience preferred
- Ability to type at least 25 words per minute
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Logical problem-solving abilities
- Ability to navigate Windows operating systems
- Organization and prioritization skills
- Comfort working in a remote team environment
Work from home requirements
- Personal desktop, laptop, or tablet with Windows 10 or later
- Minimum of 4GB RAM
- Wired Ethernet LAN internet connection (satellite, mobile data, and dial-up are not permitted)
- Minimum internet speed: 15 Mbps download, 5 Mbps upload
- ISP must have no packet loss and a ping under 50ms
- Proof of internet speed required
