MEP CAD Draughtsman

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a skilled MEP CAD Draftsman with 7 – 10 years of experience in Real Estate, Airline, Commercial High-end projects industry. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and familiar with codes and standards such as NBC, IS, NFPA, ASHRAE.

Experience

• 7 – 10 years of experience in MEP drafting for Real Estate, Airline, Commercial High-end projects.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Create detailed MEP drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details using AutoCAD/Revit or other relevant drafting software.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and incorporate design changes as needed.
• Ensure that drawings adhere to project specifications, industry standards, and local building codes.
• Have a better understanding of MEP Design.
• Communicate effectively with other drafting team members to maintain consistency and accuracy across all drawings.
• Keep track of revisions and updates to MEP drawings throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation related to MEP drawings.
• Conduct self-reviews and quality checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of MEP drawings.
• Assist in the identification and resolution of any discrepancies or issues in the drawings.
• Collect initial drawings, calculations, and design ideas from engineers and complete initial design drawings for review and modification.
• Preparation and validation of the BOQ.
