What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Receive, screen, and schedule appointments for callers and walk-in customers
- Maintain and manage staff schedules for individual appointments and group programs
- Notify customers of staff absences and reschedule appointments as necessary
- Enroll customers in briefs, workshops, and classes, ensuring accurate data entry in FFSMIS
- Participate in emergency response exercises and fulfill assigned responsibilities in emergency situations
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- High school diploma or GED and two years of demonstrated administrative support experience
- Excellent computer and office automation skills
- Experience providing scheduling and customer service support
- Ability to work autonomously and handle crisis situations with excellent customer service
- General understanding and empathy for diverse military families
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Knowledge of the FFSMIS system is a plus
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications
