About The Position
- Job Title:** Registered Nurse**Job Specialty:** Stepdown Cardiac**Job Duration:** 10 Weeks**Shift:** Night 3×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:00), includes rotating weekends and holidays as needed**Guaranteed Hours:** The facility can call off 1 shift every 2 weeks**Experience:** 2 years of experience required; first-timers accepted**License:** Multi-State/Compact RN license required; must hold active license before start date**Certifications:** BLS, ACLS (Only American Heart Association accepted)**Must-Have:** – Telemetry skills- IV Start skills**Job Description:**- Work 3×12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends and potential holiday shifts- Nurse-to-patient ratios generally 1:5; may be 1:6 if floated to other units- Possible requirement to float within scope to meet facility needs or between like units- Orientation includes 16 non-billable hours- Provides care in an acute care hospital with a focus on cardiac step-down- Requires the ability to adapt to census and staffing needs at different campuses- Compliance with required vaccine policies- Open to accommodating block schedule needs, subject to managerial approval- Modules and additional training must be completed prior to start- Travel nurses may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, June-NovemberNote: Applicants are prioritized based on compliance, with additional considerations given to non-local candidates and those with licenses in hand.
