What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Engage with residents, nursing facility staff, and responsible parties to resolve outstanding balances
- Manage aging accounts focusing on issues related to insurance coverage and claim rejections
- Communicate past due amounts effectively using established processes
- Process credit card payments and prepare/send collection letters
- Collaborate with management to develop effective collection strategies
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of two years of experience in pharmacy or medical collections
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Experience with billing rules and third-party operating procedures
