What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Receive, screen, and schedule appointments for callers and walk-in customers for both individual and group programs
  • Maintain current schedules for staff providing individual appointments and manage rosters for upcoming group programs
  • Notify customers of unscheduled staff absences and reschedule appointments in a timely manner
  • Enroll and schedule customers in briefs, workshops, classes, and individual appointments
  • Participate in emergency response exercises and execute assigned responsibilities related to Emergency Family Assistance Center

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • High school diploma/GED and two years of administrative support experience in a medical or social service office
  • Demonstrated experience providing scheduling and customer service support
  • Proficient with multi-tasking, multi-line telephone systems, and general front office skills
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work autonomously
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Knowledge of the FFSMIS system is desired but not required
  • Experience in a role requiring sensitivity and empathy for diverse military families
