Platform Overview:

Group Communications are the custodians of the Mubadala brand.

Our mission is to build, protect and promote the Mubadala Group’s reputation. We support the group to deliver on its mandate through world-class corporate communications. We provide communications counsel, services and employee engagement across the group.

What Will You Do

  • To manage the development and implementation of Mubadala’s Sponsorship strategy ensuring alignment with the business objectives and promotion of the Mubadala Investment Company’s brand in its local and global key markets.
  • To oversee the management, delivery, and execution of Mubadala’s local sponsorships ensuring the team follows Mubadala’s internal process including finance, procurement and legal processes.

What Will You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, advertising, mass communication or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, integrated communications and brand management. Preferably, experience in a large-scale organization with complex and multi-sectorial business operations or working in various industries. At least 3 years in a managerial / supervisory position.
  • Brand building experience is beneficial
  • Additional relevant experience is an advantage.
  • Understanding of the strategic role of sponsorships to create positive transformational change in support of overall business objectives.
  • Good knowledge of communication and strong ability to work with teams across a wide range of functions and at all levels of the organisation.
  • Good knowledge of the global sponsorship landscape.
  • Good understanding of how Sponsorships and Partnerships fit into the overall Communications Mix and at what role they play.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage third party suppliers to ensure contracts are adhered to, performance is maintained
  • Knowledge of Mubadala Investment Company’s operations and business, ability to lead the delivery of tailored solutions in line with the business needs.
  • Good understanding of how to measure sponsorships to ensure Mubadala portfolio is optimized
