The Role
The position of Iberia Commercial Director is located in Madrid, Spain. This role will work 25% in the field (Project Implementation, Calls with KOLs & Accounts, KOL Management/Development, Congress participation) and
75% Develop and implement strategically innovative sales & marketing programs and promotional campaigns to grow, including marketing material, activities and messages – create KPIs and ROI Administration (expense reports, approvals, budget review, highlights)
Core Job Responsibilities
- Set targets, objectives and incentives schemes at the beginning of each sales cycle relating to work input, output and quality
- Monitor performance of the District Sales Managers and their district in field teams performance: carry out regular reviews of agreed objectives and follow up where necessary
- Set sales force KPI´s on a monthly basis
- Effective coordination to consolidate market intelligence and in field performance
- Monitor and consolidate the outcomes of regional engagement and account plans
- Ensure the right level of support for the Salesforce (e.g. material, SFDC tools, TSA, SFE Manager support etc.)
- Influence the opinions of key stakeholders assigned as planned in field teams
- Coach and follow up on the skills development of the sales team by ensuring regular update on their medical, technical and special fields knowledge through formal training sessions, coaching in the field etc.
- Motivate and build effective multidisciplinary in field teams, communicating the ANI strategy and how this is translated into specific objectives
- Ensure best resource utilization and collaboration of Salesforce with other in field roles
- Train and coach Salesforce into the new ways of working in multidisciplinary in field teams
- Develop National Sales plan and monitoring sales reps KPI´s and ROI
- Influence the opinions of key stakeholders (e.g. KOLs, high prescribing physicians, …), as identified by the ANI strategy and by the activities planned
Minimum Qualifications
- University degree
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably including sales
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Prior Business Degree or Marketing qualification
- Demonstrated experience in managing people
- Therapy area and market experience
