The Global Head of Marketing  leads the ARI’s consumer and B2B marketing strategy, ensuring our brand stands out as the world’s favourite airport retailer and partner of choice. Reporting to the Marketing Director you will drive brand storytelling, customer engagement, and business growth through innovative marketing initiatives.

This role requires a dynamic leader with a strategic mindset, a passion for retail marketing, and strong stakeholder management skills to oversee ARI’s global marketing and PR while managing the content creation function for global locations

  • Be the brand champion for ARI, owning and driving the continuous evolution of ‘Joy On Your Way’. Bring the brand to life internally through culture, externally through partner engagement, and in-store and online through passenger communications.
  • Execute a comprehensive global marketing strategy to enhance ARI’s brand, customer value proposition, and market positioning.
  • Act as a bridge between B2C and B2B marketing, ensuring alignment across consumer, corporate, and commercial priorities.
  • Lead the development of omnichannel marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, pre-travel engagement, and passenger average spend (PAS).
  • Build strong relationships with local marketing managers and strengthen engagement with regional teams to ensure alignment and best practice sharing.
  • Drive store standards and customer experience in ARI Ireland stores, ensuring a dynamic and engaging retail environment where passengers love to shop and penetration continues to grow.
  • Ensure marketing content for new business tenders is tailored to airport-specific requests, positioning ARI as a leader in marketing services and customer engagement.
  • Oversee the creation of winning brand identities for new business opportunities.
  • Build and execute a global omnichannel marketing calendar, working closely with local markets to ensure impactful, regionally relevant activations.
  • Partner with the Creative, Social, Category, and Digital teams to deliver bold, industry-leading campaigns and content.
  • Work with category teams to develop and implement category marketing initiatives and innovative brand collaborations that enhance the customer experience.
  • Identify and develop new partnership marketing opportunities beyond brands, including collaborations with airports, tourism boards, airlines, and other strategic partners.
  • Identify and implement new digital tools, trends, and technologies to enhance marketing effectiveness.
  • Manage content creation across ARI business units, ensuring a consistent and engaging brand presence across digital and social channels.
  • Oversee social media content production and distribution, leveraging trends and insights to optimise performance.
  • Work closely with local marketing teams to tailor social media strategies to regional audiences.
  • Lead ARI’s storytelling workstream for our Customer Value Proposition (CVP), continuing to evolve and elevate this essential part of our brand narrative.
  • Develop ARI’s corporate social media strategy (LinkedIn and beyond) to amplify brand perception and business development.
  • Lead ARI’s external communications strategy, positioning the company as the partner of choice in global travel retail.
  • Oversee trade PR, supplier relationships, and corporate storytelling, ensuring strong media coverage and thought leadership.
  • Maintain and evolve ari.ie as a strong corporate website.
  • Develop marketing content for business tenders, including marketing materials, bid documents, and corporate storytelling.
  • Ensure a strong, consistent tone of voice and messaging across all external communications and proposals.
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing global marketing team, fostering creativity, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Provide strategic guidance and mentorship, ensuring marketing excellence across all regions.
  • Support professional development, succession planning, and talent retention to ensure marketing excellence across all regions.
  • Collaborate with broader marketing functions, including Insights, Airport, and Creative teams, to ensure a customer first approach and that you align with daa Group’s strategic aspirations.
  • Oversee the central marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of spend to drive maximum impact and return on investment.
