Monte Nido has been delivering treatment for eating disorders for over two decades. Our programs offer a model of treatment that blends medically sophisticated care with a personalized treatment approach. Our work is grounded in evidence-based strategies for adults and adolescents suffering from eating disorders. We work from a multi-disciplinary treatment team approach while integrating state-of-the-art medical, psychiatric, nutritional, and clinical strategies to provide comprehensive care.

We are hiring a Head of Learning and Engagement to be a visionary leader responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a comprehensive learning, development and engagement strategy. This role requires a forward-thinking professional with the ability to align organizational goals with talent development initiatives, drive employee engagement, and align with the overall business need. This role will report to the Chief People Officer.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Strategic Leadership:Develop and execute a forward-looking learning and engagement strategy that aligns with the company’s mission, values, and business objectives.
  • Learning Program Design & Implementation:Lead the design, delivery, and optimization of learning and development programs, ensuring they meet the diverse needs of employees across all levels.
  • Employee Engagement:Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and engagement by developing initiatives that increase participation, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Communications: Develop and implement the communication strategy for learning, development, and engagement initiatives, ensuring clear, consistent, and compelling messaging to all employees and create engaging content to promote learning opportunities and celebrate success.
  • Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of key learning and engagement projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget and work to proactively identify and mitigate risks to keep projects on track.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making:Utilize learning metrics and employee feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and make data-driven adjustments to enhance learning outcomes and engagement levels. Use data to assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of learning objectives and skills and report outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with clinical and department directors and senior leadership to identify skill gaps, learning needs, and opportunities for development, ensuring alignment with business strategies.
  • Leadership Development:Create and oversee programs to nurture leadership potential and equip managers with the skills to drive high-performance teams.
  • Innovative Learning Solutions:Stay at the forefront of industry trends and emerging learning technologies to deliver cutting-edge solutions that resonate with modern learners.
  • Content Development: Design and build creative, interactive, and educational training courses, manuals, videos and visual aids applying adult learning theories.
  • Program Development: Design, develop, implement, and evaluate programs and initiatives responsive to the needs of team members and the overall business, including training plans, curriculum, and methodology.
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion:Ensure that all learning initiatives promote inclusivity and address diverse learning styles and needs, fostering a supportive and equitable work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required
  • Additional certifications preferred in the learning, education, and/or training space
  • 7+ years of relevant training and development experience
  • Healthcare and clinical training development preferred
  • Experience and proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Strong organizational, planning, problem resolution, communication, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite required
  • Instructional Design experience required
