Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Facilities Leader II to oversee the repair, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our facilities and equipment. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and technical expertise to ensure smooth plant operations and optimal efficiency.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Supervise and ensure all assigned tasks for technicians on the shift are completed. If work is unfinished, provide a clear handover to the next shift.
  • Plan and oversee the installation of new equipment, relocation, and reinstallation of existing machinery for both production and facility needs.
  • Propose improvements to service equipment, including energy-saving initiatives and resource efficiency (water, gas, electricity, etc.).
  • Manage and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities for facility equipment, plant utilities, and other operational needs.
  • Ensure maintenance tasks are executed according to the established schedule and procedures.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan and improve reliability.
  • Maintain an adequate supply of spare parts by coordinating procurement and submitting purchase requests as needed.
  • Identify training needs and conduct necessary technical training for technicians to enhance their skills and efficiency.
  • Provide uninterrupted facility support to ensure seamless plant operations.

Job Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate degree or equivalent preferred.
  • At least 1 year in relevant manufacturing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting, including WWTP (Wastewater Treatment Plant) systems.
  • Experience with building maintenance, utilities, fire protection systems, and general troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of electrical operations, mechanical systems, and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) maintenance.
  • Familiarity with sewage treatment plant operations and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) and chemical process maintenance, including paint, plating, and anodizing lines.
  • Strong Leadership skills and Reporting.
