In the Role
We are looking for a Head of Sales who can help us to grow our B2B product in LATAM region. As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to expand market share, increase revenue, and drive adoption of our Upskilling product.
You will lead a high-performing sales team, build relationships with key stakeholders (enterprises), and work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams.
What you will do
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement a scalable sales strategy to achieve revenue goals.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and expansion markets.
- Optimize the sales funnel and customer acquisition processes.
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team across Latin America in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team.
- Set KPIs, goals, and performance metrics for the team.
- Provide coaching, training, and development programs to enhance team effectiveness.
Business Development & Partnerships
- Establish relationships with B2B clients.
- Negotiate and close B2B and B2G deals for large-scale adoption.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales efforts.
Market Analysis & Growth
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
- Use data-driven insights to refine sales strategies.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Requirements
- Native-level proficiency in Spanish, fluency in English
- Location and Mobility: Based in Latin American countries, with readiness to work across LatAm, primarily in Mexico, Colombia, Chile, and Peru.
- Professional Experience: Prior experience of 5+ years in business development with a proven track record within corporate entities is obligatory. Experience in EdTech, HRTech, and IT fields is an advantage.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills are necessary.
- Networking and Rapport Building: The ability to build rapport with decision-makers in organisations (e.g., HR, L&D/T&D managers, CIO, CDTO, CTO, CDO, and other technical executives) and maintain it long-term. An extensive network of personal contacts in the business community of Mexico and other Latin American countries is beneficial.
