Job Description
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and lead the F&B team, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Assign duties and responsibilities to team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration.
- Guest Service:
- Ensure that all guests receive prompt, courteous, and professional service.
- Address and resolve guest complaints and issues efficiently.
- Maintain a strong presence on the floor, interacting with guests to enhance their dining experience.
- Operational Management:
- Oversee the setup, operation, and closing procedures of the restaurant.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the dining area.
- Ensure that all equipment and facilities are in good working condition.
- Order and Inventory Management:
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
- Assist in managing inventory levels, placing orders, and receiving supplies.
- Monitor stock levels and minimize waste.
- Training and Development:
- Conduct training sessions for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff.
- Ensure team members are knowledgeable about menu items, specials, and promotions.
- Provide feedback and coaching to improve performance and service standards.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including sales, expenses, and guest feedback.
- Prepare and submit reports to the Outlet Manager as required.
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the F&B department.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Two years’ experience as a waiter
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
