Job Description

  • Team Leadership:
    • Supervise and lead the F&B team, providing guidance, training, and support.
    • Assign duties and responsibilities to team members to ensure smooth operations.
    • Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration.
  • Guest Service:
    • Ensure that all guests receive prompt, courteous, and professional service.
    • Address and resolve guest complaints and issues efficiently.
    • Maintain a strong presence on the floor, interacting with guests to enhance their dining experience.
  • Operational Management:
    • Oversee the setup, operation, and closing procedures of the restaurant.
    • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the dining area.
    • Ensure that all equipment and facilities are in good working condition.
  • Order and Inventory Management:
    • Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
    • Assist in managing inventory levels, placing orders, and receiving supplies.
    • Monitor stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Training and Development:
    • Conduct training sessions for new hires and ongoing training for existing staff.
    • Ensure team members are knowledgeable about menu items, specials, and promotions.
    • Provide feedback and coaching to improve performance and service standards.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including sales, expenses, and guest feedback.
    • Prepare and submit reports to the Outlet Manager as required.
    • Assist in budgeting and financial planning for the F&B department.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Two years’ experience as a waiter
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
