Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition Strategy:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy for manufacturing roles, ensuring alignment with business objectives and production needs.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and hiring managers to identify short-term and long-term staffing needs.
  • Recruitment & Sourcing:
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting, resume screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
  • Source candidates using a variety of methods, including job boards, social media, referrals, recruitment agencies, and direct sourcing.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external recruiting partners, staffing agencies, and universities for sourcing talent.
  • Talent Pool Development:
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for both current and future manufacturing roles.
  • Actively network within the manufacturing industry to attract high-quality candidates.
  • Candidate Experience:
  • Ensure a positive and efficient candidate experience from the initial point of contact to the final hiring decision.
  • Coordinate interview processes, provide feedback to candidates, and ensure clear communication throughout the process.
  • Data and Reporting:
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and candidate source effectiveness.
  • Prepare regular reports on recruitment activities and provide insights and recommendations to improve talent acquisition processes.
  • Compliance & Best Practices:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and company policies during recruitment and hiring processes.
  • Stay updated on trends in the manufacturing labor market and apply best practices to recruitment processes.
  • Onboarding:
  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure smooth onboarding of new hires, including conducting orientation and ensuring that all necessary documentation and training are completed.
  • Employer Branding:
  • Help strengthen the employer brand by promoting the company as an attractive place to work within the manufacturing industry.
  • Assist in creating recruitment marketing materials, including job descriptions, brochures, and social media content.
