Job Overview

Kalinga University is seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Professor in Forensic Science and Psychology. The role is based in Raipur and is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching, research, and curriculum development. They should be able to mentor students and engage in academic writing and public speaking.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Teaching experience in Forensic Science and Psychology (Mandatory skill).
  • Proven research capabilities in relevant fields (Mandatory skill).
  • Experience in curriculum development (Mandatory skill).
  • Ability to mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  • Strong academic writing skills for publishing research papers and articles.
  • Excellent public speaking abilities for lectures and seminars.
  • Ability to engage in critical thinking for problem-solving and research design.
  • Effective time management skills to balance teaching, research, and administrative responsibilities.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality lectures and laboratory sessions in Forensic Science and Psychology.
  • Develop and update curricula to reflect current research and industry standards.
  • Supervise and guide student research projects and theses.
  • Publish original research in reputable journals and present findings at academic conferences.
  • Mentor students academically and professionally, providing guidance and support.
  • Engage in collaborative research with colleagues and other institutions.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and other university activities.
  • Contribute to the development of new academic programs and initiatives.
