Job Overview
Podar Education Network is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time, senior-level position located in Nashik. The ideal candidate will have a maximum of 10 years of relevant work experience.
Qualifications And Skills
- Strong negotiation skills (Mandatory skill) to secure the best terms and pricing for materials and services.
- Proficient in purchase operations and processes (Mandatory skill).
- Experienced in vendor management to maintain good relationships and ensure timely supply of goods and services.
- Skilled in cost analysis to evaluate and select the best suppliers based on cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Competent in inventory management to ensure adequate stock levels and avoid overstocking or stockouts.
- Adept at contract management to draft, review, and enforce contracts with suppliers.
- Strong market research skills to stay updated on market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Excellent budgeting skills to manage and allocate funds effectively and efficiently.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Manage the purchasing process, including the selection and negotiation with suppliers and vendors.
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet project requirements and ensure cost-efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and timely procurement of required goods and services.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse staff for stock management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding purchasing and procurement.
- Conduct regular market research to identify potential suppliers and gather information on market trends.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities and costs to management.
